World Cup Summer Soccer

 World Cup Soccer offers basic skills training program along with the popular game of soccer.  Each session for the U5-U10 (birth years 2008 - 2013) player will start with a structured 30 minute group skills and activity period, followed by a small side games against other teams in that age group.  All sessions follow a documented progressive curriculum, headed by our trained staff assisted by parent volunteers.

Parent volunteers are needed in order to make this program work
Volunteers are the heart of the program, along with our instructors the volunteers will work with the participants and the program lesson plans to help each player improve their soccer skill set in a fun and safe manner.  It only take a few hours twice a week enjoy the relationships you will build with this young athletes as well as your own child. A preseason coach's clinic will beheld to distribute curriculum and review all sessions

Birth Years U5/U6 (birth years 2012-2013)
The theme of the practices will be centered on Me and My Partner.  The first thirty minutes will focus on dribbling and ball mastering activities wrapped up in fun activities, followed by a 4 X 4 soccer game consisting of four field players and no goal keeper .

Birth Years U7/U8 (birth years 2010 - 2011)
The theme of the practices will be centered on The Start of Us. The first thirty minutes will focus on individual skill development and progress to connecting players to a partner. The session will end with a fifty minute 5-A-Side soccer game consisting of four field players and a goal keeper. 

Birth Years U9/U10 (birth years 2008-2009)
The theme of the practices will be centered on Us.   The first thirty minutes will incorporate individual skill development and progress to connecting players to the team concept. The session will end with a fifty minute 5-A-Side soccer game consisting of four field players and a goal keeper.

 Locations:   (Players are grouped according to age and gender.  (Co Ed teams maybe formed if not enough girls sign up.)

This is a tentative schedule and may be modified due to the number of participants that sign up for the program.
Final details will be confirmed in May. Lakefront SC is not responsible for cancellations due to Acts of God or circumstances beyond our control.

Lakefront World Cup Summer Soccer Program (U5 - U10) is for those desiring to play soccer. Details are as follows:

Program Fee:
   U5 – U10
                $109.00
                Five (5) weeks - 10 sessions
                Includes uniform
                Registration closes June 22, 2018.  Late fee of $20.00 after deadline.

Uniform: distribution will be during the first week.
All players must wear shin guards; cleats or sneakers are acceptable.  Please bring a water bottle and a ball to each session.

Team Managers U5 – U10:  Parents/adult volunteers will be responsible to manage the games for the first three weeks and will observe the training sessions.  During the four and fifth week the team manager will take over the training/game sessions.  Each team manager will receive practice plans and will have assistance of the staff available if required.
All volunteers/coaches/managers will be submitted to NYSWYSA for a Risk Management background check.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES: 
Medical kits will be available at each location.  If a Lakefront Soccer Club Recreational Soccer player needs assistance during the session beyond what a parent/guardian can offer, the parent/guardian should call 911 immediately.

Coaches Meeting

Coaches Meeting will be held on Thursday June 2st at the Lakefront Soccer Club Indoor Complex at the Webster Sports Arena, 865 Publishers Parkway, Webster.
