Lakefront Updates and Information

Lakefront Familes

We hope you are all staying safe and healthy!

We will post updates here as we hear from the Leagues and governing bodies.

To the right on this page, there are links to videos for the players to work on to keep up their skills!!

Our next Board of Directors meeting is Sunday, June 7, 2020.  We will post any updates we receive as we are notified.

Lakefront Soccer Club’s first concern is for the well-being and safety of our players, coaches, and their families.  Our Office Staff and Board Members have been monitoring the Coronavirus restrictions and will follow all recommendations from the CDC, NYS, Monroe County, and our governing bodies, US Youth Soccer and NYSWYSA.

We hope that you and your family are all safe and healthy during this unprecedented time.

This “new normal” is anything but normal. We know it is a time of great stress and uncertainty.

From going up to a bank teller with a mask on and asking for money to homeschooling your kids, everything is different than how it was only a few short months ago.

We have decided that it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel this summer’s tournament.

With the cancelation of the Lakefront Classic Showcase Tournament, the club has lost a major source of revenue for this year.   As a result, the Board of Directors has put a hold on all spending without approval.

Over the next several weeks we will be receiving guidance from US Soccer, NYSWYSA, and RDYSL regarding the resumption of practices, games, camps and tryouts.  In the meantime, the club is also looking at extending the 2019-20 soccer season into early fall (Sept and Oct) with a series of practices and friendlies.

World Cup Summer Soccer and InterTown Summer Soccer programs have been cancelled.

Please see below for status on the Premier and Travel Soccer leagues.

Thank you and be safe!!
